How it works

Think of MARINECARD as a system, which can be changed both on and off the water.  Below is a brief outline of how this system works:

bullet

Print any repetitive information (if required) onto the insert using either a PC or a pen

bullet

Seal insert inside a pouch

bullet

Place pouch into holder

bullet

Attach strap to arm or boat, using the Velcro strap (join two straps together and it goes round your thigh!)

bullet

Write the information that changes, e.g. race course, on the pouch with the pencil either on or off the water

bullet

When required, wipe off the pencil marks with a dry cloth and start again!

Taking Care of your MARINECARD

Your MARINECARD will be important to you so follow the care instructions below to enjoy the benefits for longer.

bullet

Always wash all components in fresh water following use

bullet

Always remove all pencil marks from the laminates before storage

bullet

Remove the pencil and Velcro strap from the holder and allow to dry naturally after use

bullet

Store components out of direct sunlight

bullet

Store sheets of inserts flat and away from moisture

Tips and Suggestions

bullet

Before printing onto the inserts, print onto a blank piece of A4 paper to check alignment

bullet

The holder will accept more than one laminate.  Why not put a laminate with a blank insert behind the one you are using, just in case

bullet

Place a dry cloth in a sealable bag for wiping your MARINECARD on the water

bullet

Both sides of the laminate can be used, however pencil marks may remain on the duller side when wiped with a dry cloth

bullet

The marks can be removed by wiping with methylated spirits
