MICS Terms and Conditions of Sale
All orders for goods or services accepted by MICS are accepted subject to the following conditions which shall form part and govern the contract of sale. Placement of an order shall be deemed to be acceptance of these conditions of sale. 1. Payment and Price (a) Price Lists do not constitute an offer. (b) All goods are to be paid in full prior to despatch. (c) Payment is to be made in sterling, cheque, Cash or via the PayPal online shopping facility. MICS Ltd online Secure Shopping facility accepts payment by Visa, Mastercard, Switch ,Solo and others as specified during payment process. Orders paid by cheque, will not be dispatched until the cheque has cleared, for which up to 14 days should be allowed. Do not send cash through the post or by carrier. 2. Availability of Goods. Inclusion on MICS Price list does not mean goods are in stock. MICS endeavours to dispatch all goods within 28 days of placement of order. If goods cannot be supplied after payment is received, owing to unavailability of goods or any other causes beyond MICS control, MICS will refund in full, however liability is limited to the purchase price. 3. Delivery of Goods. MICS endeavours to dispatch all orders within 28 days. 4. Property and Risk. For so long as any amounts remain owing from the purchaser to MICS (whether immediately due or not) title to the property of the goods shall remain that of MICS and ownership will not pass to the purchaser until the MICS has received payment in full. 5. Product Information. Product images and descriptions have been designed to give as much information as possible about the product. Product images are not displayed to actual size. Additional product information can be requested at any time. 6. Claims. (a) No liability for any claim for damage or non-functionality shall be accepted unless the purchaser notifies MICS in writing (via post or electronic mail) within a reasonable time after delivery. (b) No liability for any claim will be accepted in the case of goods differing in quantity or descriptions from the particulars given on the delivery note unless MICS is notified in writing by the purchaser within a reasonable time of delivery and the onus is on the purchaser to prove any shortage. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. 7. Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. All purchases made via our Online Store, Telephone or orders by post are subject to the UK Distance Selling Regulations.
8. Returned Goods. Not covered by Distance Selling Regulations (section 7 above) (a) The vendor will not accept goods for credit or refund unless such return has been authorised by MICS, and the goods are received by MICS in stock condition, with original packaging. (b) The purchaser shall unless otherwise stated, or goods are being returned under the Distance Selling Regulations be responsible for the cost of outward and return carriage and insurance of all goods returned by the purchaser to MICS for refund or credit which goods shall be at the risk of the purchaser until actual receipt of the goods by MICS The onus of proof of safe delivery shall rest with the purchaser. (c) MICS shall refund postal expenses on returns of faulty or incorrectly supplied goods. (d) No credit or refund shall be made for goods until they have been received complete. 9. Complaints Procedure. MICS promises to deal with all complaints confidentially and in a fair, speedy and effective manner. For the purpose of addressing complaints via Telephone, Letter or e-mail.
